Park Carousel. Looks a bit cold folks.... |

Fred and Kippy aren't they cute!!! |

Cherry Valley 1968, the ladies, me

was kinda cool to be in his presence. |

Another Family Reunion, I am not
sure of the date. |

Kary at her riding lesson!
|
|

Mom in her garden, she had a
beautiful garden that she tended
with love and care. I remember
walking up the down the paths, dressed in Easter finery, having our
photos taken as kids. Planting the fish heads around the roses to
make them bloom even more. Weeding constantly. And pulling
out all the encroaching portulocas, who were pretty but got a bit
overgrown. |

I so loved my pets while I was
growing up. Here are a few of them. Actually these are the
only photos of have of the animals. Now I only have dogs. |
|

Another photo from the 1984 Cherry
Valley Family Reunion |

Looks like Penny and Chris wedding,

 |

On one of our trips cross country,
we stopped at the Harry WInston Chandler Arizona factory, for a tour and
to meet the folks who worked there. |
|

Carolyn, Chris and Aunt Helen during
one of our visits to her at
the convent in Amityville. It
was always fun to go out to the convent and see her. |

Aunt Aggie at our first reunion in
Cherry Valley at the Fish and Game club. If anyone remembers the
name of the dog.......? Benji I have been told is his name. |
|

My Kindergarten class photo from
1959, is that you Liz in the
second row???? |

Our early dogs posing outside the
Old Fort in Cherry Valley,
Hiking around Cherry Valley
was alot of fun, we went to the fort, the falls, town and just walking
all over the farm. |
|

Kary waiting for the fish to bite on
our trip to Moosehead Lake |

The kids at the twins birthday party

From another of our cross country
trips, Lassen Volcanic Park, 1983 it is one of
my favorite places that we visited. |
|

More dogs, Roscoe, Travis and
Chelsea in Marian and John's backyard on Knotty Oak Lane in VA |

I love this areal photo of the farm
in Cherry Valley, it brings back such fond
memories of great times that we had
there. I loved this farm, the house on the farm had the most
awesome porch. Loved sitting out there.
Cows, getting up early for milking,
going in the little grey pickup to the creamery in the morning to drop
off the milk. Family, fun. |
|

Just a couple of my friends. |

Along with all the good comes the
bad, one photo of the house after the fire. |
|

Family Reunion 1984 |

Another of our photos from a trip, I
think this is one of my favorite photos,
I like dead trees. Yosemite
1983 |
|

Louise, Bob (proud papa), Marian and
baby Marianne |

Kary and Marianne having fun. |
|

Not sure which Reunion or family event this photo is from, (looks like
Marian and John's steps in their foyer in Manassas) but there are alot
of young people in it. |

The girls at one of the reunions,
Mary, Dorothy, Louise and Mary
My cousins all.............. |
|

Mom, Dad, Uncle Walter and Aunt Anne
and that kid looks like a baby Karen. |

From the early days when I worked at
Harry Winston. I worked with some
great folks
Karin, Florence, Jetty and Susan.
The bottom half of photo is one of a
parcel of diamonds. that is what I worked on every day! |
|

T

Cherry Valley Day parade at in 1968! |

Me and Kippy with the plants, I do
look a bit surprised, eh..... wonder what I might be sitting
on......................... |
|

One of my favorite places in all the
trips we took. Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. |

Dorothy and I posing with her Honda.
On one of our cross country trips,
we really enjoyed driving that car.
It took us on a great trip. |
|

A few of my African Violets, I
enjoyed raising an showing them, then the dogs just got in the way. |

Two of the dogs I grew up with,
Mickey and Tiny |
|

Carolyn and I posing at Easter 1957,
those are the
houses across the street from us.
My Dad was taking
the photo from our porch! |

This photo was taken of the houses
across the street from mine at the time of
the fire. Cars look a little
cute. Anyone remember when this fire occurred,
so I can add the year. I am
not sure of the date. |
|

Mary and I and I think her horse
Shadow. Mary was in a show and they had a class for people who
really don't ride, I took her horse into that and I got a prize, that
bottle of champagne that I was trying to feed to Shadow.
I also remember that jacket that I
am wearing I really like it! |

On one of our cross country trips
around Labor Day 1982 or 83. We were in
Bryce Canyon in AZ. We were
staying in our tent, woke up in the morning to
find it had snowed during the night.
So we had an impromptu snowball fight. |
|

I think this photo is from Yosemite
in 1982. It was a beautiful place, you should visit it if you have
not done so! |

That tent went to quite a few
states, on quite a few trips. We had fun! That is
Dorothy and Mary at the picnic bench
with a visitor from another campsite. |
| And I end my little tribute to
my family with the two folks who gave me the chance to come into
this world!
