Occasionally I am fortunate to be
able to help some dogs in need find new homes. It is very
satisfying to be able to do this for these deserving dogs
This is TJ (which stands for Travis Jr. after my first
Pap Travis who was a red and white. TJ has had a tough start in
life. He was a Christmas present, lived in a crate all the time and
one of the kids put rubber bands on his ears and they fell off.
Even after that he has a sunny little personality and does not seem any
worse the wear.

Update on TJ's status. He is staying with me. I am
a
failed foster parent!

Luc is a Papillon who needed a new home. Thank you to
Gloria who gave him a great home. I know he will flourish in your care.
Best of luck to you both.

Lolita came from a hoarder who had almost 100 small dogs. She was
a sweet wonderful little dog, who just needed some TLC and new home.
I had her for about a week and then with the help of some friends found
her a great home with a lady, who loves her dearly. She sleeps in
bed with her under the covers, which is where she should be!

Luna (on the left) also was with me for a little
over a week.
She had a real stressful start in foster care. I had
her, the next day took her in the motor home to a flyball tourney, which she
survived. Monday I took her to work with me as I taught agility classes.
Tuesday morning I went to the emergency room and then spent the next three days,
coming home Friday morning, in the hospital. My cousin Mary
took
good care of all my dogs including Luna. I then went out to the LIA trial
Saturday morning and she did not come home with me Sunday night. She
stayed with Pat and Arty Weiss who are the founders of Long Island Agility
and she is doing great with them. She is Arty's special companion
and nothing makes me happier than to see that. Thank you folks.
Another success story!
